Local photo contest. Eligibility: Any photo that is not graphic in nature and is local to Sarasota and surrounding area, (i.e., scenery, place, people) IMPORTANT: You must tag your photo(s) with "Sarasota photo contest" to be eligible.

Sarasota Photo Contest

Rules & How to Enter:

Any community member can enter
Photos must be related to Sarasota & surrounding area: beach, sky, scenery, places around townplane, etc. (and they must be G rated)
Limit of 5 photos per member, (you can have more photos in the community, but only 5 can be entered in the contest).
Photos must be entered by adding them in the photos tab, not here in the discussion forum. All photos entered must have a title and be tagged "Sarasota photo contest". To tag a photo, after uploading simply type in "photo contest" below the photo in the <tag> field.
You must invite your friends to join the community and vote for your photos, (just kidding, but it can't hurt)!

How to vote: Simply do a search for "Sarasota photo contest" in the main search box or on the search in the photo tab. Click on a photo. At the bottom right of each picture is a "rate" icon, click on it a rate from 1 to 5.

Winner: The winner will be the photo with the highest rating and the most votes. In an event of a tie, the SarasotaLocal Team will determine the winner.

Prize: The winner will have their winning photo displayed at the top center of the community homepage and receive a giftcard to BestBuy

Photos must not contain any nudity or graphic content and poster must have ownership rights. In the event of a tie, the tying photos will posted in discussion within this group and the group will choose 1 winner. GOOD LUCK!
