Robert Thompson same in a chat line nickname; 19, years old. Its shocking but this is true: My first kiss happened about a year ago when I was around 16 years old. It's weird cause the girl wasn't even my girlfriend... she's one of my best friend's little sis... she just turned 13 at that time. My best friend knew that she got a huge crush on me and that she wanted to kiss me. We just make jokes and laugh about it. She was pretty hot l… Continue

What should you do to keep your laptop battery healthy?
1.) Always use your laptop on a hard surface.
Laptops are portable and it's easy to set your laptop on your Hp dv9000 battery or on your bed or use it at your lesiure. That's one of the benefits of having a portable computer. Flexibility. But if you want to extend your battery's life you have to watch out for overheating your laptop.Heat is one of the biggest obstacles to batt… Continue

Despite the lack of worthwhile incentives offered by Florida to prospective film production, there are some exciting projects that are bubbling under the surface and awaiting financing. My friend Beau Burton, Exec Producer at Florida Films here in Sarasota, has shared some of the percolating projects that he is working on. I wish I could give more details on them, but that would be inappropriate at this time. Rest assured that I will tell you everything when the time is right.
Despite my knee se… Continue

It's easy to get dazzled by the new video technology that can deliver high quality - even HD - images at an incredibly low cost. This allows many aspiring film folk to go out there and film away. However good this is, it does not address the quality of a script, direction or acting - not to mention composition or lighting. Somebody is still going to have to write an interesting script, be the producer who marshals the resources and find a director and actors who can deliver the vision of the fil… Continue

(Boynton Beach, FL) Thanksgiving came early for the Sarasota Millionaires as they held on to beat the East Coast Reapers 25-21 in the 5th annual Turkey Bowl game Saturday night in Boynton Beach, FL.
Quarterback Mike Peterson threw 2 touchdown passes and ran for another and the Millionaire defense put up a goal line stand in the last 2 minutes of the game keeping the Reapers out of the end zone to take the Turkey Bowl trophy. Peterson was named the MVP of the game.
The Millionaires opened the s… Continue

What is a BeeMat?
We are very excited about a Florida green company that we found that has come up with an innovative way to naturally clean up green mucky stagnant water in lakes & ponds. If you live near a lake or pond that is green & filled with muck you know how unpleasing it is to look at not to mention the smell, yuck. One solution is to add an expensive fountain or aerator. Don’t get me wrong an aerator or fountain is a good thing. They will help to circulate the pond creating mo… Continue

Actors are often accused of hiding who they really are by playing parts that vary from their true selves. I like to think that actors should bring themselves into the roles they play. After all, an actor should apply his or her experiences and sometimes attitudes to truly embrace a character.Yes, we are still pretending to be someone else.
AMERICAN SOUTH starts shooting on the 13th for me, so I am prepping myself to be a sleazy mayor of a very small town. I am still awaiting word on the PERCEPTI… Continue

Despite a highly painful medical problem in my left knee, I am still moving from an acting point of view. Nobody hates being hit with a problem that forces one to be immobile more than I. I must admit that I am easily fed up with being a patient. However, while in the mostly prone position I received news that I was cast as a District Attorney in Capstone Entertainment's thriller PERCEPTION. The folks at Garner-Alan Productions were able to rechedule my shoot night for HAVOK to accomodate my kne… Continue

(Tampa, FL) Antero Niittymaki stopped 37 Devil shots on this Halloween, but it wasn’t enough to treat the fans to a win as New Jersey beats the Lightning 2-1 in a shootout win this afternoon before 12,154 fans at the Forum.
Outshooting the Lightning 38-15, the Lightning goaltender, Antero Niittymaki played his best game of the season turning back all but one shot in keeping Tampa Bay in a game which New Jersey controlled from the beginning. Niitty made a spectacular glove save on Cory Murphy in… Continue

Can you see me in a Panama hat with a Southern drawl strutting my stuff as a mayor of a very small Florida town? Well, apparently the producer and writer/director of AMERICAN SOUTH can. This thriller-feature is about a very small town that suddenly is the victim of a serial killer - and there are no strangers to blame. Principal filming begins next month.
I am also glad to say that Ascension Films here in Sarasota has tapped me for one of its upcoming projects. And, my audition as a high-powered… Continue

(Tampa, FL) The Tampa Bay Lightning were 16 seconds away from their second straight win at home after two embarrassing losses on the road last week, but the Buffalo Sabres took it away with a 3-2 shootout win tonight before 15,804 at the Forum in Tampa.
Buffalo’s Drew Stafford scored the tying goal at 19:44 beating Lightning goalie Mike Smith with a wrist shot from deep in the right-hand circle to send the game to overtime. Sabres goalie Ryan Miller kept his team in the game stopping 23 Lightni… Continue
