This past weekend Selby Botanical gardens had celebration via an Asian Celebration that I attended.
From drumming, to Ti-Chi, to wonderful arts and crafts, there was plenty to see and do. Selby Gardens has many exotic plants and "secret" garden area's along with views of the Sarasota Bay that will astound you. A truely wonderful setting.

I was under the impression the Gillespie Park was a non deed restricted nieghborhood with a voluntary home owners association. Yesterday City commisioners voted to restrict parking in front yards of homes in that nieghborhood and demand that cars be parked in the street.
1. Why should the commision have ANY right to dictate to the property owners whether or not they should park in thier own yards?

Had a great night last night - started at the Canvas Cafe in the Towels court area. I do have to say a lot of tastes are mixed very simply on very expensive boston leaf lettus. If you like different cuisene dining, definitely a place to check out. The ambiance is great - outdoor seating is available but make sure you make reservations.
From there went to Reverend Denise Oylers discussion group on the Secret. A Great bunch of people and the energy just flowed.
