Monday morning, 5.19.08, 10 am GMT
We arrived on Saturday in Heathrow Airport, were picked up by my brother Andy and his wife Sian, and after a 5-hour drive across Britain we arrived in St. David's, the smallest city in Britain located in Pembrokeshire, South-West Wales.
It's very small, but extremely tourist-oriented (hence the Internet Wi-Fi Cafe next door to our apartment), and apart from its beautiful cathedral, it is no doubt known for its breathtaking cliff views and its Atlantic coastline. The ocean resembled a mill-pond on our first 9-mile walk yesterday. Needless to say, our jet-lag added to our aching bones last night, but a good bacon sandwich, a couple of good pints and the sunshine will send us happily into our second full day.
